Chapter History

On April 22, 1967, 26 sisters joined together to sign the charter of the Epsilon Iota chapter of Alpha Xi Delta at Newberry College. Alpha Xi Delta was the first sorority on Newberry's campus and were later joined by two other National Panhellenic Sororities: Kappa Delta and Sigma Sigma Sigma. 

The Epsilon Iota Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta has continued to grow over the years. We currently have 44 active sisters and are looking forward to growing our sisterhood! The ladies of Alpha Xi Delta are focused on be successful, well-rounded ladies that spread love and happiness through our actions. 

Our chapter is very involved on Newberry's campus and we work to make a difference each and every day. We look forward to our future and we can't wait to see what our sisters will do to change the world!
